Vision33 releases 2012 Business Direction Survey results for small and midsized businesses

Vision33, a leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) consultant in the small and midsized enterprise (SME) market and SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign Partner – just released their 2012 Business Direction Survey Results, outlining the main business technology challenges and opportunties facing SMEs in the U.S.

Vision33’s research objectives for this study were to identify common business process challenges as perceived by SMEs for 2012, what future software investments they are considering this year, and overall awareness of ERP software and its potential impacts on business operations. The results from the survey came from a large number of Vision33 readers and followers consisting of small to midsized businesses dispersed across several industries, including manufacturing, distribution and professional services. The survey was completed by C level executives throughout the U.S.

Moving into 2012, the majority of respondents indicated that both real-time reporting and collection on accounts receivable are two of the biggest challenges they face this year.
